The mission of Waupaca People for Peace is to promote peace at home, in our community and throughout the world. We embrace and support projects that nurture peacemaking, provide solidarity and foster justice through education, networking, peaceful protest and witnessing.
Waupaca People for Peace meetings Waupaca People for Peace meets the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm at theChez Marche Cafe in downtown Waupaca unless otherwise noted. Meetings are open to everyone. Alternative meeting sites will be posted on this page when pertinent. Call the cafe at 715-256-2672 to clarify meeting times and sites.
In January, Waupaca People for Peace and the Waupaca Community Arts Board will co-sponsor a traveling display of posters depicting the history of Art in the peace movement. This traveling display comes to us from the city of Bradford, England, which is known as “the city of Peace.” It will be displayed in the gallery space of the Chez Marché Cafe, downtown Waupaca.
